Software for Tabla accompaniment
TaalMala is a PC based Tabla (North Indian drums) accompaniment software for music enthusiasts and professionals. TaalMala is a Windows based software with an intuitive advanced graphical user interface (GUI) that can be used to construct and play virtually any Taal (rhythm). Each Bol (stroke) in the Taal can be composed individually by specifying the stroke to be played on Tabla (the main/pitch drum) and Dagga (the bass drum). The emphasis of the Tabla stroke relative to the Dagga stroke, as well as the duration of each of the strokes is adjustable. The user can save the composed Taal in proprietary .tal file or standard MP3 or WAVE sound file.
